SHIPPING & RETURNS
Shipping Policy
All orders are shipped USPS Ground or Priority.
Orders typically take up to 3-4 business days to be processed. Orders placed on Friday - Sunday will be processed starting the following business day. You will receive an automatic shipping confirmation email with your tracking number at the beginning of the processing period. Holiday (Nov - Dec) orders may take 5 -10 business days for delivery due to high shipping volume.
Processing:
Rush: Up to 24 - 48 hours
Standard: Up to 3 - 4 Days
Shipping:
Rush: 2- 3 Business Days
Standard: 5 - 7 Business Days
If your order is needed by a specific date, please email us once your order is placed, as we'll be happy to help get your order delivered in time.
Possible Delays
We try our best to ensure your order will be delivered on time. Due to COVID-19, delays are possible. Please keep in mind that we are only provided with an estimated delivery date from our carriers. On a rare occasion, these packages can arrive outside of the estimated timeframe.
Tracking My Order
To track your order please use the tracking number emailed to you once your order has been shipped. If your tracking number does not work visit www.usps.com to manually input your tracking number.
Mail Carrier Returned Orders
If a package is not able to be delivered by USPS it will likely be returned to sender (Modern Opulence.) Please note these packages may take 5-7 business days to return to us. Once we receive the package we will attempt to redeliver the order. Processing for redeliveries for insufficient address or any other return reason may take 3 to 4 business days to process and reship due to high order volume.
Lost/Stolen Packages
Modern Opulence is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. We kindly ask you ensure your shipping address is correct on packages before it leaves our facility.
Lost/stolen packages are non-refundable.
Once your order leaves our facility, it is at the liability of USPS. If your package says delivered but you cannot locate it, please contact your local post office and file a claim through USPS as instructed. We cannot file claims on the addressee’s behalf.
International Shipments:
Modern Opulence is not responsible for international duties and taxes fees. Duties, taxes, and customs fees vary depending on your country and the value of goods. We are also not responsible for unclaimed parcels, custom holding times, or incorrect shipping addresses.
If for any reason you decide to reject the parcel, not pay the customs fees, you will not be refunded for your order.
Return & Exchange Policy

If you are not fully satisfied with the item(s) you have received, you may return the item(s) to us within 7 days of receipt, provided they are in original condition with tags intact. Once items are returned you will be entitled to store credit. We are not able to accept items that appear to have been worn, washed, have a strong scent, are not in original condition, or have had tags removed.
Every aspect of the garment must be free from signs of wear and odor.
We can offer a store credit (excluding the cost of delivery) and request that you return the item(s) unused and with the tags intact to us. Please ensure all return packages are sent with a trackable, insured service that provides you with proof of postage, as we cannot take responsibility for items damaged or lost in transit. We ask that you provide us with the tracking details so that we can track and process your return in a timely manner. Please allow up to 10 days from the time we receive your return for it to be processed.
Where items are returned to us outside of this time period we reserve the right to return the item to you.
Cancellations
We understand that you may change your mind about something you have bought online. You have the right to cancel within 24 hours of placing your order if you simply change your mind. Where items are returned to us outside of this time period we reserve the right to return the item to you.
Undelivered Items
If items are undeliverable to you by the courier/postal services these orders will be held for a defined period of time for you to collect. If uncollected items exceed this limit, they will be returned to us as the sender. All items will be automatically refunded and returned to stock. You will be notified via email of the refund once processed.

The buyer is responsible for return shipping. Please include your packing slip and/or name and order number to ensure we have received the correct return. Upon receipt, we will process your return! You will receive a store credit code in the amount paid for the item via email. We ask that you send and include a tracking number with your package so that we may process your return promptly.
Please allow up to 10 business days from the time we receive your return for it to be processed.

Preorder Policy
What are Pre-orders?
Pre-orders are advance purchases made on new merchandise that is scheduled to be shipped at a future date. They are a great way to guarantee that an item will not be sold out upon arrival to our store. Each collection or item available for pre-order will have its own specific shipping date. These dates are not guaranteed, but we will do our best to update our site with any changes.
Combined Orders
We suggest that pre-ordered items be ordered separately from “in-stock” orders, as in stock merchandise can be shipped immediately. If you combine in-stock and pre-order items into one purchase, all items will be shipped when the pre-order is fulfilled.
